goooood wednesday morning everyone!!!..addon on to todays journal...instead of gettin on the elliptical today...decided to shock my body with riding the recumbant bike for an hour...yeah my mind was shocked well when my fingers where programing in the numbers ...thought what the heck that should be a great workout...well i started out with a resistance of 7...higher then i usually put in...well by the time i got to the top of that hill...it was up to 12 on resistance..and i was huffin an puffin...was thinkin i was gonna have to get off an push it over that hill...sheewww...then when i got over the hill it kept going thru my mind if it was for real...i think bike would of been draggin me down the hill as i was just to tired to peddle....well as the time was counting down...i was thinkin just a few more minutes...i can do this...yes that little voice kept sayin you can quit its ok...but i kept set in my mind that i would do it...well when 60 min clicked off....i had done 10 miles...when i got off the bike i felt like i had been ridin a horse...lol...i think i finally found muscles i havent used in a long time...and im glad i pushed my body to do a different workout today.....catch you all later...have a great day!!!!!

goooood tuesday morning everyone!!!...do any of you remember when george jetson use to get in that transport tube an he could get sent thru it to work or where ever he had to go...NOW!!!!...why cant we have that...it wouldnt be so hard for me to head out an to the gym this time of year if i could just get in that transport tube an zip to the gym...instead of letting that first blast of cold air slap me in the face like its going to today...lol...bbbbbrrrrr...28 this morning...wind chill down to 20....yesterday was just the start to another day of me pushin my body as much as possible...tried my best to wear it out with my morning exercise, blowing the leaves around in the yard with leaf blower for 2 hours, and 2 walks, and also ran errands...17038 in steps yesterday...at 2 i layed down cause my body was tired i thought, but at 2:15 i was back up an moving again...ended up getttin bck up an workin on todays journal...easier to do it ahead an then cut an paste it over in the mornings before i head off to the gym...saves alittle time for me in the mornings and i still get to write before i head off to the gym....ive really been tryin to push my workouts and ive been tryin to keep my body guessin whats in store for it each day...my plan each day is to try and push my workouts alittle more...trying to push it just enough to challange it, without injuring it...tryin to get the resistance on the elliptical up each day...todays il be doing an hour again, with a resistance of 12...by next week im shooting for a resistance of 20 thats as high as it goes...by the time week 4 gets over with, then i will be ready to switch ellipticals and start all over once again improving each day...im thinkin that by changin each day, i will keep challenging my body and it wont get use to the workouts as easy...or thats the plan...lol...well enough ramblin for now...need to get my body up an movin again....so...hope you all have a great day!!!!...keep changing the workouts so they dont get boring...your body can take it!!!!

goooood monday morning everyone!!!...i really impressed myslf yesterday morning by addin more time on and more resistance...was gonna try an do 2 sessions on the elliptical...but after 5 minutes on the second session i was outta the mood an bored with it...so got on the bike and started a hill program...as i was listening to my mp3 player..one of the hi intensity mp3s that i got from prevention.com was on..an i though well heck i can use that workout along with riding the bike instead of walking...will be the same kind of workout...so i did a short one...did the roller coaster one..since it was the first time i had really tried to stay with the mp3..didnt stick with it all the way thru, but i have decided that would be a good workout when i get done with the elliptical and a good way of burning the last of my energy off, before i quit for the day in the gym...ive been walkin about 30 min ...5 days a week...started last monday...been tryin to do it 2 x a day, but sometimes i dont always get that second walk in...cause im just to tired from my morning workouts...sometimes that time is used for a afternoon nap...lol...and sometimes i just lay down an relax, an im ready to get bck up an go for that walk...for me the hardest part of exercising right now, isnt going and gettin the workout done, its having to get out in the cold to get ther...but once i get my workout over with, im always glad i took the time an effort to do my workouts...makes me proud of myslf for pushin myslf to work this weight off...i like to encourage everyone by telling them about fatsecret and how its kept me focused in helping to get some weight off...i tell anyone that wants to listen when im in the public...how good fs is and how supportive everyone on the site is....but most people dont like to make a change in ther life...guess they are content with themselves..for me...im so happy that i finally hit rock bottom and decided it was time to change my lifestyle an to actually do somethng about it...cause its been great every since i made that choice...sure there are bad days, but ther are more good days and im a happier person with myslf now adays...hope you all have a great monday!!!! ...catch you all later today!!!!

today did an hour on elliptical, hill program...11 res..then got on bike again a hill program..res of 6..for 20 min...another great workout again today...restin up then gonna do a 30 min walk inside this morning an hopefully another one after lunch inside...have a great day everyone!!!!

goooood sunday morning...took yesterday off...and it was hard not to head to the gym an get on the elliptical yesterday just to get a workout in...cant really explain why its so motivational for me since ive started bck at the gym, but i really enjoy going ther once again...alot of going ther is i can see where the hard work of being on the elliptical and the bike are starting to pay off again...as i said yesterday, the 42 jeans buttoned, but i still have a week or 2 and mabye longer before they will be comfy enough to wear in public....but definately encouragement ...mom an i went out shoppin alittle yesterday, she bout a new set of scales, for me for xmas...as i keep sayin the old one just doesnt seem to say the same weight when i use it...i can get on it 5 times...an get 5 different readings...and no its not the batteries..i just changed those not to long ago...so anyways i tried the new scales out an naturally i was heavier on them then if i used the old scales...like i said yesterday...i dont even care to get on the scales anymore...its just a number like age is...lol...its how good the clothes fit that matters...so by the time xmas gets around...mabye the scales will be showing a decent loss...my mission this week..if i accept it ...and you kno i will...is to keep adding more time on and adding the resistance upwards...as it all seems to be payin off once again...i can also tell my belly is getting firmer and smaller as some of my older shirts are getting longer in front and covering my belly... a very good thing this time of year...since less cold air is blowin up my shirts...lol...welp...time to get up an movin...and get this workout started...have a great sunday everyone!!!!

GOOOOOOOD SATURDAY MORNIN EVERYONE!!!!...wakin up to yet another day of rain...glad its warm enough to be rain..otherwise we be diggin tunnels thru the snow...lol...woke up 2 min before the alarm clock was to go off this morning...shut it off..and thought today is my off day an just layed in bed for an hour...decided to take the day off from the gym today...give my knees an everything else time to rest up, before i head back to the gym tomow to start my week all over again...i am gonna get on the floor in a bit an do my morning crunches an do a few exercises just to get limbered up some today...library called last night, and i went up to pick up some books, but it wasnt the one from jillian michaels that came in...still waitin on that one...thought mabye it would be good reading an motivational as well...not sure what im gonna find to do today to keep from being bored...since its rainin again, hard to get in the mood to even think about getttin out in it...and colder air is movin in today as well...so probly hybernate inside today...and try really hard to cut carbs as much as possible...i decided yesterday im tired of weighin each day to see how im doing...so not gonna weigh for a week or 2...let it be a surprise..i kno as long as im workin out the way i do, and eating fairly close to what i put in my menu, then gettin on the scales an being disappointed by the numbers, just isnt worth the time anymore...if i had a scales that would tell the fat percentage, or would tell how my clothes are fittin, then it would be worth steppin on it ....so good by to a daily routine of gettin on the scales...ive had it with that routine...i did get out a pair of shoes last night to see how they felt when i put them on...the ones i had been using when i was walking has almost 300 miles on em an the heals are almost gone...well more like if you lean on em like the heals look, you would be standing sideways...lol...to bad you cant resole the heal part of shoes...but i kno they are wore out..just hate to part with em yet..dont seem like shoes last long enough anymore...must be all the extra movement that they cant take ...thats wearing em out to fast...well breakfast is over an im about woke up now...if i had gone to the gym today...id just about be gettin home at this time...feel like im runnin behind since im just movin around now...lol...well...for all you people in the midwest...enjoy another wet day outside...an for the rest of you ...have a greattttttt day!!!

gooood morning everyone...day 6 in the gym...gonna go as long as i can, before takin a day off or 2...since i started last sunday, would llike to make it till sat or sunday before i take a day off to rest...but have learned when your body says its tired to listen..more rain comin today and colder temps...chance of flurries tomow, but its been to warm an wet to really worry about it...my kind of snow..lol...gettin ready to eat breakfast an head to the gym...have a great day everyone !!!!

GOOOOOD MORNIN EVERYONE!!!...Yeap 330am and im up ...rested and ready to get this day started once again...have been improving on the elliptical each day...last year when i was using it i was doing a hill program, with a resistance of 12 for an hour...yesterday i was up to 33 min, hill program and resistance of 7..so each day i add to it...an then i get on the bike for 25-30 min ...eventually i will be up to 1 1/2 hour workout in the morning...hopin that will kick the flab off...i kno that most of you that do exercises know how to do them and for those that are lookin for different ones..i get a newsletter from workoutpass .... www.workoutpass.com ..you can have it come to your email box and each day it shows you like 4-5 differnt workouts i think ive had like 14 newsletters so far...and alot of them are exercises that take nothing more then you doing them...welp...anyways...after my morning workout...didnt do anymore exercise...ended up cookin soon as i came home and got that over with for 3-4 days..so now its just up to me to pick what i cooked up...to stay on track...not sure what today holds...i was gonna try an start doing 2 gym workouts a day, but i was so tired yesterday after my workout, i decided mabye doing 2 might be put on hold for a week or 2...till i get built up to my morning workout....i did almost go walkin yesterday, but then decided that if i did i would be defeating the purpose of taking time off from doing extra walkin..so ended up just restin the rest of the day...once you get use to execising, sometimes its hard not to try an get the extra movement in thru the day...or it is for me anyways...ive just become so much more active since i started this journey...i no longer like to just sit around and kill time watchin reruns on tv...id rather be up an moving and burnin off the calories...so thats why im thinkin of doing 2 gym workouts once my body can take it...well...need to get up an eat that all important first meal..so my body is ready to burn more calories in a few...so hope everyone has a great day!!!!

good tuesday morning everyone!!!...im up at 328am...hate this new sleepin schedule...dont kno why i cant get use to the time change an adjust to that extra hour...so just gonna make the most of it today an hit the gym earlier...mabye get a longer workout in today...start building my time on the elliptical bck up again...right now im using a efx model of elliptical..its an older model with stationary arms, but thats ok..im gonna use it for 3-4 weeks, then i will change models and get a different workout using my arms on the next one...i feel like i did when i first started my exercise routine...the drive an motivation are back in full force, and im completely focused on gettin to the next mini goal again...its been a fast year since i started...well more then a year...but still a fast one...and im lookin forward to next summer all ready and being in smaller size clothes then i am now...i tried on the 42 jeans again yesterday...so close to being able to button them...hoping by thanksgiving or xmas to be in them...and if it takes till xmas to get in them thats ok...cause if it takes that long to get into them...i should be at my mini goal and resettin that again...yeap, im ready to move onward an downward once again an reset my mini goal ...im thinkin just going 10 pounds after this one as the weight does come off slower once you get so close...seems like its took forever to get this 15 pounds off...and alot of that was me going from cardio cause i had injuries to weight lifting...i have been thinkin of doing weights on the weekend at the gym when im takin days off from cardio...that way i could still go an get a workout of some kind...and usually on the weekend there are fewer people in ther...so more alone time with less interruptions...less time waiting on equipment...right now just thoughts...i do kno i want to get my workouts bck up to around 2 hours a day...last night was thinkin doing the one in the morning and then another one after lunch...try an not get on the treadmill at all...give my knee the rest it needs from walkin...as hard as it is to take the time off...as i do really miss my morning walks...but at the same time i dont want to make it worse, an have to stay off it completely..so taking time off from walking or being on the treadmill is a must....39 this morning and rain is moving into the area today, so not sure whats in store to keep me occupied today...was gonna blow the leaves to the front of the house, but that will have to wait now...as its suppose to rain for like 2 or 3 days...THEN...and only the weather man knows for sure and then its only if it gets cold enough, and it hits the ground...lol...weather man said chance of snow on saturday...hoping hes WRONG!!!!!....im just not ready this year for winter...i was enjoyin the nice weather to much...hated to see it leave...o well...all part of livin in the midwest....well need to get up an moving if i want to make it to the gym by 430am...so hope everyone is doing great!!!! have a great day... catch you all later today!!!

goood monday morning...crispy 28 this morning..makes it hard to want to get out just to go to the gym for a morning workout, but i went cause i didnt want to let myslf down...did 30 min on elliptical, resistance of 7 and a hill program, then did 20 min on recumbant bike, resitance of 6 anothe hill program...worked up a great sweat for the hour...thinkin of maybe walkin inside today..an again this afternoon to..hate to walk inside, but would probly be better on my knee...well need to get up an movin again..hope everyone had a great weekend!!!...catch you all later!!!!

GOOOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!...just got bck from a gym workout an now layerin up to go for that morning walk...34 here today with the wind like 30 or so...not as cold as yesterday...cold enough for me...lol...when i was out an about yesterday an old friend happend to be in the same place an stopped to say hi...they was in shock at how different i looked..an commented on how good i looked ..ask me how much i had lost so far...and ask how, all the details..told em it was an everyday challange, but one well worth taking on...was smilin from ear to ear an just couldnt tell them enough how much it was all worth making that  lifestyle change...something that they both said they need to start as well...i told them one day at a time creates a new routine and in 30 days it becomes a habit...that they to could do it...

gooooood morning !!!...rejoined the gym last night, and this morning was my first session ...im all motivated to get on with my weight loss once again...i wasnt sure it was time to rejoin yet an i kept puttin it  off, but last night when i did it was like a new me again..i felt like i did the first time i joined...just got home from my first workout and im all pumped up an ready to move onward an downward...gettin ready to layer up an just do a short 30 min walk...then do another one after lunch...keep my walks short so i dont injury myslf since its gettin colder out an all...just get a few more steps in...an burn baby burn that flab off...loll...have a greattttttt day!!!!!
