One Billion Steps!

We crossed a billion steps collectively in the last few days - Congratulations to all!

That is really a lot of steps you’ve all walked. When I hear the word Billion I still think of Carl Sagan’s Billyuns and Billyuns of stars, and so the obvious correlation here is that you’re all rock stars.

Nice job and keep walking.

Thanks for offering this great service. This Web site definitely helps in keeping me motivated. Seriously, you’ve helped make a real difference in my life by getting me to take exercise more seriously than I have done in a long time.

Congrats to the community on this milestone!

A billion steps is so cool. I’m new to the site but I love it. I’ve been entering in my steps every day since I started here. Thank you for making this site! It’s very motivational.

If we all stood in a huge circle, we could each pat the person in front on the back - haven’t we done well ?

this is such a great site. time to go for two billion. the gym in my office building sponsored a walking program for 12 weeks for the summer which kick-started me to walking even more, and when that ended, i looked for a new site to track my steps. i’ve been talking to the health fitness instructor in my building and because of my excitement and how i’m still keeping up with, she’s doing another 12 week walking program in the winter…. what a way to keep in shape during those dark, dreary winter nights. now her and i are in a competition (so to speak) - she’s wearing her pedometer and we compare our step totals every week. happy walking everyone….. :)
