better sleep last night, i am improving hooray,

Maureen is up, terrible sinus last night, drove me crazy, and this morning, ugh very heavy cold, headache, sick as the proverbial parrot,

my phone and internet have been off .what next

as you can see my steps  (no comment) this has certainly, put a spanner in the works, and i was so off to a good start.

to-day is The Three Kings day here inSpain where everyone gets their presents, big parades all over Spain last night, it was wonderful watched ours on the telly.

Right which one of my lovely Comrades, gave me the present of a Cold, i have not had one for years, a feel pretty rotten, all i can say is thank you very much. lol

its amazing what a few Frenadol Spains equivalent to Lem sips makes you feel, have done a bit laundry and a shepherds pie for to-night.

cancelled aerobics this morning, no good going coughing and spluttering, even though its 19c outside i am keeping warm inside. busy watching the Mummy 1st one,
helped derek put away christmas decorations, apparently i am the only one knows where they go men,
but he did make our tea. not alot doing this afternoon so hence the dire steps, and i  thought i was off to a good New Year. hmm.

Not a Happy bunny this morning   discovered my voice is very hoarse and have a tickly cough and feel a bit rough, well thank you very much, what have i done to deserve this, its not going to spoil my day.

looked up Laryngitis its a viral infection, causes would you believe access alcohol consumption lol

have problerms viewing screen havnt i clue what button i have pressed.

thanks to Ben our trusty Knight in shining armour, i can now view my web site again, great day to-day went to Torrevieja with our friends Tim & Lynda a good walk around including Belen again.

Step class this morning, since we missed it yesterday due to it being News Years Day, great class this  morning, had a really good work out, coffee with the girls, home lunch, then off to do a little grocery shopping. steps are going well so far i will pray they continue, as the weekend is upon us. did my bit of shopping, then took for woof for a walk, don't think i am finished yet.

last walk with Cass she is now pooped.

had a great night, good food, good company, and everyone their seemed to be enjoying themselves, Fireworks were wonderful, went on for ages, left the chinesee about 2:30am , home we both had a cup of tea  then went off  to bed..

was determined to-day to start my new  year off to a good start, 3 walks with woof  that did it, she also needs it.

acoording to my blog only need to walk 10,145 to meet goal of 14k but i am going for my 6million to-day, aerobics/step that should help somewhat.

Dull and cloudy to-day hopefully will get out later.
made my goal for the month

i am also over by 5,171 for monhtly goal another surprise.
oh i like these surprises for the last day of 2008

Yahoo made my 6 million steps thats cheered me up some what now going to take woof for a walk, windy cold and still no Sun what a bummer.

had our walk along the front of Torrevieja, stopped off at our usual haunt, for coffee and croissant,  Then walked  to the Church square to see this year's Belen thoroughly enjoyed it, it has to be their best yet, our Rosemary has already posted some pics on her blog. will post more when my friend returns fromthe UK

Just noticed only need 12k to-morrow to reach my 6million i am going for it. lol

Maureen is here, went to San Pedro market with friends Tim & Lynda had a good morning i even bought a pair of brown pumps for 2euros, go well with my brown skirt, and 1 pair of Red knickers apparently over here in Spain there is a tradition, where you have to wear red underwear on New Years Eve.

OK Debs here's what i have been up to to-day, so far.  "absolutely nothing" even forgot about my ped. whats the use i am surfing the net, same time watching telly, which is a load of rubbish, just had lunch, a bowl of Turkey broth and a slice of brown bread. weather is dull and grey wow. so very unmotivated to do anything.

quick trip to mail room, collected a few more Xmas cards that didnt make it in time, and still my dvd has not arrived, what a bummer, good laundry day its windy as well as cold,

Maureen is relaxing to-day, still in nightie and dressing gown, its heaven, stuffing myself with Ferrero Rocher that Pete has just brought round, to thank us for a wonderful day yesterday, what a sweetie. watching Mushy Christmas movies, Derek is on Solarium reading his morning paper.
Tell fibs i have made a broth with the Turkey leftovers it smells lovely.

What a day can't believe my steps,didn't realise doing Christmas dinner, brought so many, we had had a great day, and we had champagne on the solarium it turned out beautiful and warm yippee, having a deserve rest.

Only 5 of us at aerobics this morning, but great workout,followed by coffee, no more classes  for me until New Year Eve.bought last bits from San Miguel market, went to mail room CLOSED.Home Pete invited us for a drink. and its cold and grey. not very festive, where's the SUN.

Pottered to-day,made sure my Table cloth was clean, will press it to-morrow all glasses and crockery ready, will set the table to-morrow night, it saves quite a lot of time. We went out this afternoon to San Miguel for lunch our friends Tim & Lynda treated us. thoroughly enjoyable, then went for a walk around the town.

To all mi amigos i thank you very much for the Xmas Cards, if i have missed any body out i apologise, i wrote a list but through it out by mistake so i don't know who received and who hasn't?????

Early start, San Pedro market for my vegetables, it was busy, no time for coffee, picked up chipolata sausages for pigs in blankets, then to the mail room we had a few late Xmas cards. then picked up the Bird just under 6kg, + neck and giblets, cant have a Turkey without giblets. made soup and turkey stock, having my haircut this afternoon.

But i did miss my aerobics class this morning

By the way Derek & I are not multi/ millionairs this year from EL Gordo some lucky people will have a share of 2 Billion euros. wow.

sort of relaxing day, before the rush as they say, more washing, ironing, bit of cleaning,

strange kind of day to-day, no rushing around, but the washing machine was busy though, have to be all spic and span for Christmas day, maybe i might get a day out walking to-morrow?????
