It's ... it's like you live on the other side of the world or something. Fabulous photo, Susie. I hope you're feeling a bit more chipper this morning. "It's probably better to feel too much than too little." --from a movie I recently saw whose title I cannot remember
Hi Starwalker. I susp[ect you're right. This plant looks more like something found in the sea than in a garden!
I forgot to mention I bought a cheap 'plastic fantastic' 50mm lens that has a great reputation. I love it to pieces. This is taken using that lens. It give a lovely shallow depth of field.
Lovely is the right word.
This looks a bit like a chrysanthemum. Our mums, though, are autumn flowers. Wonder if it's in the same family? It's lovely.
So nice to be looking forward to your postings again!

It almost looks like it could sting you!
I love this photo.
A pretty flower and pretty steps too! It makes me think of an aster growing in a tropical setting. I guess that can't be since you say it is cold and cloudy. You are in spring, right?
Now the 18th in other parts of world !!!!! wheres you gone again????
I am wondering what cold is in Perth? Your weather is so different from ours. Lovely mystery flower.
