I got my period for the first time in three years! This is actually good news because it means that my female problems were due to my slugish thyroid. It took a year and a half to balance the meds right, but I think we finally got it! :) Yay for my Armour and Synthroid!

I'm done having kids, so if my period never came again ... I'd be ok with that. I was really irregular through my teenage years and until after the first two kids (who we had to work hard to get). I'm on Synthroid too.

I'd be happy with no period, too, but having it means that the thyroid hormones are getting back in balance.  I never felt well on Synthroid alone, or natural thyriod alone.  Combining the two has made a HUGE difference in how I feel and getting my T3 and T4 where they should be.
