well....thought I would give you all a treat...wide angled and toothless!!!! On flight home from Egypt....now you can understand why henrik kept telling me not to smile!!!!

He has gone to bed...I tried a couch doze but have given up, so am going to get tidied up soon, and finish the packing...will be leaving at 1.30am.....will be on later in day from sunny manchester..think I will just take a thick jumper and a raincoat......

Time to leave Egypt now with a final look at a few Hotels......

Up early...starting work at 9 today...home by 5pm...and then can finish packing and the like......have a good day!

house looks reasonably tidy after weekend...often is a mess.....so no real chores to do after work.....so maybe Ill just come home and light the fire??

woke up to a covering of snow again.....just goes to show our weatherforecasters, with their sunshine, cant be trusted! and windy....had fancied a boat trip today....ah well..back to painting I suppose....
and theres the packing too....and have to skype with Kaj, so he remembers what we look like when we pick him up from Nursery on wednesday morning!
Maybe I should have a plan of action like @SueGeer....
1.water all plants...done
2.get chicken out for tea..done
3.get rucksacks out..done
4.tidy bathroom..done
5.make tea..done and eaten...not very good tho...
6.pack..done as much as needs doing today.
7.paint..done
8.put washing away from yesterday..is all dry...done

Up at 7am...good nights sleep...was very tired yesterday...supposed to be sunny today...but misty and windy so far....I really want to achieve something today...just dont know what yet!!!!

I am sure @River can get a spot on this beach when she is finished at school.....sound of the ocean and the gentle murmer of tourists add to the overall relaxation.....thats me on the table!

Friday...not the best sleep last night...Henrik woke me up twice....playing guitar and then coming to bed.....and head is still buzzing a bit after yesterdays marathon.
However.....have a little concert to go to this evening...all female choir, Corona, our friends, 5 years Jubileum...only an hour down at local centre.....and then have to go to Bank and shops during the day....didnt have time to shop this last week....and time to get rucksacks out again...dont really know why we put them away! Off late Tuesday night..early wednesday morning to sunny Manchester!

We have mixed skies today!! Mist over the hills, but blue out on the horizon.....and no rain!!!!

Near the Mosque was a big greek orthodox church, and I wandered in for a look...they were doing the whole place up...new pews, new paintings....the chandeliers were all covered up.....pretty impressive place....

Very misty today, but that means it is mild, which means the melt will continue......work 10 till 5 today.....
Just checked forecast.....sun will shine through a little today...it has frozen last night...car needed scraping again...but ahead of us lie many rainy days!! Wont the flowers need a little sun as they emerge ??

Concert was great...stood right down ar stage, had my bag and elbows resting on it! And Peter actually shook my hand!A real granny groupie! The rest of the day was totally predictable and not worth reporting.

Actually set the alarm today, even tho it is Saturday, as we are off around 10am, and didnt want to have to rush...so now on morning coffee, watching the snow falling!!!!!! I am working very hard being positive about it!!!! Nearly 4 months of the white stuff now....
Was quizzing @slsommer about just why they had 4 cars just before the alarm went off!!!!!!!

another day of dramatic skies and snow ploughs...just driven Henrik down to dentist, and the skies and the sea were the same dark grey, interrupted only by the white islands....of course my camera was at home!

Well...Friday...again....have to go to bank and PO, and do a little shop..and of course the ever present and returning tidying! Forecast says 2c plus today and rain...hope not...will be a right mess out there if the snow turns to rain.......

We are off on 10.45am ferry tomorrow to Bergen...where the airport has ground to a halt again today....to see

A typical Thursday here in downtown Fitjar..
up 7.15am and make coffee...drink coffee, check mails, see news, talk to hubby, 7.55,scrape heavy frost off car and  drive said hubby to work, home again 8.15.quick shower, up stairs, dress, finish coffee, drive to work 9.15. start at 10am...pause at 11am till 1pm....shopping......sit on behind from 1pm till 6.10pm...last lady is always a little late.....drive to Fitjar, pick up Henrik...both arrive home around 7pm...make quick and easy food after having climbed into jammies....so by 8pm I can relax and slob!!!!!

Sun today, but forecast says snow all day tomorrow....again!

Today it is my 4th anniversary as self employed. And finally think I could support myself in a one roomed flat, if Henrik ran off with one of his receptionists! Has made a big difference with the new supervision jobs. Only problem is wednesdays....I am in Fitjar...but have only one regular client, and she only comes every second week... Henriks suggestion is I begin a wednesday sex telephone job!!!! However, I had a call at 7.45am this morning, from a former customer and have made an appointment for next wednesday, in Heiane! So maybe I will begin working there 4 days a week....

Had to scrape car for ice and snow again today...and it is falling gently out of a blue sky as I write....just had Fire department here, doing a safety check...no batteries in 2 fire alarms!!!! and have to get a scum extinguisher...but otherwise all OK....now free for rest of day...and is only 8.40am...

I am sitting patiently awaiting the second cup of coffee to do the business!!! Had 9 hours again last night...maybe it is too much sleep?

Main mosque in Sharm...there were 5 in all...Egypt is 80 procent Muslim and 20 Christians....liked this, as seems to be built of desert sand!

Good 9 hours sleep last night, and awoke to another lovely blue sky.....
Apart from skyping with Kaj and Rory this evening, have no concrete plans....but there are jobs awaiting!!!!

So called mangrove channel in Ras Mohamed....was here I saw the only group of Americans...complete with security men!!!

12.45pm...just home...shopped on way, and called in for coffee at friends, where her papa is critically ill in Hospital....she wasnt there, but others from family were.
I really feel spring in the air today, although still minus temps and lots of snow and ice.....

Had a nice evening...sat up till 2.30am...she has made sushi!!! Yum!!
Question...what is the word for someone who believes there is a god, but not a specific as in a christian one, or a hindu one??? A sot of non party political God?? By 2.30am we just couldnt think clearly.... the snow baileys tasted good!!!

and now...shopping away and a bit of tidying....treated myself to 7 yellow tulips!
