Kaj and Alex in Århus.....
Just driven car into Heiane, and driven home agin in a loaned vehicle.....blinking light problem on ours......our local garage has been closed all summer, as they are rebuilding it, and adding a supermarket on the side...they don`t have loan cars and that is always a problem...so think we will stick with this new one in future....
Otherwise....cloudy, dull, dry so far....1 client at home...think I will wash the bedding today....how`s that for excitment???

Raining, work 9-5, bit of shopping.

Kaj and Granny in the park, Århus. The pushchair had fallen over, due to all the purchases on the back...I got 2 CDs with that group we saw last weekend, Kings of Creation....apparently they are very well known!

Monday dawns...sunny too....one client here at 2.30pm so no rush...
Have to; clean downstairs, shower, shop, unpack, wash clothes, try and find a nose ring as lost mine at weekend, and tidy upstairs........so an easy day!

On Friday I stayed in park, gaurding pushchair and purchases, and having a doze on damp grass, and they went toan exhibition in a metallic silver balloon structure...lots if lights and things as you can see.. Rory took this.....

Home by 5.30pm..left hut at 10, drove them to Århus, where alex and kaj got train to copenhagen...they are staying there till tuesday.....uneventful trip home.

Weekend went well.....lots of people, sunshine, bacardi and coke on friday evening, kaj-time and everything else that I expect on such occasions!

Arrived in Århus last night, just in time to join them at a riverside cafe for food! Good quick flight......
Up very early this morning, and wandered up to Rory`s getting some bread and stuff on way.......
Will be off into town in a while...sun shining!

Kaj splashes Granny! and got an ice cream date with him this evening!

Leaving on the 12.45 ferry and should arrive in Århus, Denmark around 7-8pm....we are booked in to a hotel, alex and kaj staying with rory, so will meet them before he hits the sack....

It is Århus festival so tomorrow we can all find something child appropriate, have lunch and then drive off to family gathering around 4pm.....may pop on rorys mac tomorrow, but otherwise will be absent till late sunday evening...

today have to pack, have a quick tidy so its nice to come home to, shower and ....well...thats about it!

A day of major overhauls!
Started off with bloods, then moved onto dentist..0 holes, and later heading out to hairdressers! Now just home and breakfast...

Couldn`t find the ear plugs last night when the rodents started, so ended up on couch...think henrik had taken them...someone was snoring...?? must have been Shitten!

Long day today...leaving at 8am, and won? t be home till 7pm...but can`t complain too loudly, as only work day this week....

Very cloudy with a few blue patches today.....no work, long day tomorrow, then nothing on Wednesday......we are Denmark bound Thursday lunchtime...till Sunday...
So today is washing, tidying after weekend of sloth, making hair appointment for wednesday, and whatever else turns up!

Think we have rodents in the attic....was woken up by scratching above my head...had to go find earplugs....how do they get in?????

Late start to sunday due to late film evening......and then a stress free morning......lazy breakfast and conversations....

Now 2pm, rain has abated, sun is out...so maybe I should get dressed and return the films?
Off to Denmark on Thursday lunch time, and Alex wants kaj`s birthday pics and spain pics, burnt on to a disc...so must find out how to do that......

Although it is a bottle of coke on the pictured table...it wasn`t that that Henrik drank!!
There was a very large consumption of alchohol, and standing in a queue for 90 minutes in the heaviest rain ever, I felt like the only sober person there!

Luckily, just after work, Henrik said he has seen some proper rain jackets for sale, down at Larsen..and we drove down and got one each...we have just cheap sets...so we now have a good oilskin jacket each....was drizzling abit before and during concert, but it was first when we, and 698 other people should should back to Fitjar, that the heavens really opened.....there were 2 boats, one with room for 34 and the other 65.....
Henrik and others headed off to carry on drinking at the Hotel, and I drove home to my warm, dry jammies! he brought 2 extra bodies home, but now they have been fed and watered and have left.

So he has just gone to grab a bit of extra sleep, and I may also grab a doze....

Friday.....sunny so far....bank run and maybe bottles too...
It is Fitjar festival this weekend, and the harbour is full of marquees....well..not the water part obviously, that is full of visiting boats!
We are going to a concert this evening, on a nearby island called Smedholmen....they have built a stage, and there are 3 Bergen bands playing...ticket price includes boat trip over....so it will be a case of mosquito repellant, and rain clothes!!

Last full day of holiday, and we went out for breakfast, but obviously too early for Kaj!

Dull Thursday...just showered and soon have to dress and so on....5 clients today in Heiane! Won`t be home will 6ish....don`t think I need any shopping

Next Thursday we are off to Denmark for the annual Family weekend, and Kaj and his Mum are coming from England....doesn`t start till 5pm on the Friday, so we are all meeting up in Århus, where Rory lives... Alex and Kaj staying with him...we have booked a Hotel as he doesn`t have much room....so if anyone is thinking..."she must be soon done with all these pics..."!!!!...well...there will be more!!

Lots of damp children out this morning...first school day and raining!
Only 1 hours work today...think I need a project indoors....when it is dry there is always gardening, but when it is damp......??? am going to stick a wash in,. but that takes all of 1 minute!

One evening, we all went out to eat....some had ordered kid!! A local speciality.....and just after they had finished eating it, a huge herd of goats went past on the road.....

Overcast day....have 3 clients at heiane, and suppose I had better do a bit of shopping....Shitten needs biscuits......and I need to check fridge....milk?

Monday, and my single client for today cancelled at midnight! But fine with me......have the bank run from Friday, which didn`t get done, and suppose I can carry on with weeding, as sun is out again today.....and have just noticed he has forgotten his mobile...again!
See all the teachers are back at work today....children begin on Wednesday....

That was a good sleep....up at 8.45am! They got back from concert at 11.25pm last night, so was still up...just!

and now, just past noon, our guests have driven off, bound for Denmark.....house is still reasonable, as we haven`t really been here, and the sun is shining outside. Henrik mowing top lawn...think I will do some more drive spraying, and weeding.....

Home at 8.30pm, and we were supposed to be at a friends son`s punk concert at 9.30pm! So I unpacked whilst the other 3 went in shower, and now they have gone! I just couldn`t face another late night!
Got to bed last night around 3am, and I drove the boat home today... 5 hour trip.....so am shattered.....so am off to shower, jammies, and have said I will wait up till 11.30pm.....they say they will be home....but....?????

We left Fitjar yesterday at 2am in pouring rain, but by the time we got to boat, 30 minutes drive, glorious sunshine...and so it stayed.....got a good docking...only 2 other boats between us and land to be clambered over! One year it was 12!! Couple of good concerts.....and although we needed motor on boat both ways, there was enough wind to use the sails too.......
