Got a nice hike (in the rain) and some extra steps in today. Weight still about 140 so headed in the right direction finally. Plateaus are not my thing but keeping on with everything did pay off! This was the gorgeous sunset yesterday.

Well I think I have been maintaining for a year today. Officially! Back to 140.1 today which is great and a test of my maintenance skills. I am keeping on my calorie range, 1300-1500 on average with some higher days to keep my body guessing, because I am not in critical weight loss mode, still really in maintenance but the lower end to get safely in range. My range is 135-140 and I don't think I will drop below 135, and even at that end of my range I started to look a little too thin in some of the wrong places, plus my body is so comfortable around 138-142 I think that this is probably a good natural weight for me. I am still trying to keep below 140 though, which was my original goal. In fact I probably have more muscle and am more fit than when I did hit my goal a year ago, and very toned and healthy. I do strength almost every day, but vary it, I know SP says not to but it works for me and its lower weights and more repetitions and vary the areas, which SP does say is ok. So all in all am doing well, and have maintained eating healthy, exercising regularly, drinking my water, portion control, eating on average 6 to 8 fruits and veggies a day, low sodium, low fat, mostly organic foods, rarely eating junk, and taking care of ME! Here is a recent pic, not bad for 45!!

Seems to be harder to get any steps in lately! I think its mostly because of the short days though. It was a little cold and damp and cloudy today, but still not too cold for November which is good for us living in the RV! Though its always warm, the main issue is horrendous condensation when its cold. I am ready for frosty days though - the mud is getting a little old especially in the dog run! One dog we leave out now but the others will run off unfortunately. Yesterday all four ran off when I got stuck inside on a phone call and were at the end of the road. Like having 4 extra kids!

Work day and did some rebounding. Its been lovely weather here for November luckily, as you can tell by the updated photos all taken last week, finally got a chance to take more photos and that was nice. Weight back up again, but a little less than last week, so frustrating as I do all the right things, I don't want to or have time to do 20000 steps a day right now. Good news is they poured our foundation today finally!!

Trying to get in at least 10k steps a day now, but this was also kind of a rest day, or felt like it, but went for a nice walk in the morning on my own, while DH watched DD. Truth be told I have come to the end of the Gilmore Girls and nothing to watch while I rebound so need to get into something else to keep me moving!! Its pretty boring otherwise. I also am worried I should be spending more time with DD not exercising so much, though get my good walks in when she is at the preschool but thats only twice a week right now.

Took a rest day as was tired and have a nasty yeast infection. Sorry TMI!!! I went shopping and ran errands and called it a day. Feel ok though just needed a day off and listened to my body!

Got reasonable steps in, was working and did some rebounding and a walk. Weight went down to 140.3 but for how long who knows!

Yikes been busy and not blogging. Lost a little enthusiasm for the blogging recently I have to say and tracking everything but staying on a healthy course and thats the main thing!!

Lots of step from rebounder, walk and errands. Was surprised how many steps though! Gave into the Thai Food and up a pound again, it must be sodium though drank some lemon juice when I came home. Its not MSG and I know its not THAT many calories, its a small portion plus I am supposed to be calorie cycling and eating more the days I do more exercise. So frustrating I can't get back down below 140 doing all the things I was doing before that worked well!!

Jumped on the rebounder then managed to get a 2.5 mile walk today, but I actually ran quite a bit of it and was surprised how far I could actually run, thats actually about 4 k (tho did not run all the way) and can see how a 5 k might actually be doable, tho not sure I will right now due to time constraints. Scales moved down 0.5 lb to 141.4 finally (again) yay! They have almost redone the foundation framing on our house so hope they can do the concrete by the end of the week, its painfully slow right now!

Forgot to update partly because the pedometer reset again! Kind of quieter day, work, exercise, play with DD, take care of pets etc! Rainy am looking forward to snow!

I have to say I used step equivalents today because I spent 2 hours digging out the very muddy and wet dog kennel, which they have dug up and made a huge mess. When it dries we need to put concrete down they mess up anything else too much! Well hopefully they won't be in it much when the house is done. They were out all day and finally the older grumpy (DH) dog was ok with the puppies which will make things a lot easier. Actual steps were 11586 and I used a one hour step equivalent for gardening (though it took 2 hours it was not all digging!) yikes hope I burned some calories. Our power was out all morning so got a lot done without having PC access!!!

Went shopping and did errands, it was a nicer day (well looked nicer where we were shopping than where we live so ended up being able to go to the park as well) raining off and on when we got home. Got good steps in though. This is an older picture because all we have seen is rain lately!

Very rainy and muddy now, our seasonal creek is flowing fast! Hope it stops soon as they are supposed to pour our foundation (finally) next week. Definitely into the rainy season now!

Went out all day and DD went to the preschool while I saw a client, and went for a walk and shopped. It was a beautiful day, we have snow on the hills and the sun was shining on the peaks - but forgot my camera!!! Definitely been a lovely Fall here. This is the view from where our house will be. Weight back to 141.0 today so one more pound to lose, though did enjoy Thai Food for dinner, but everything in moderation!

Busy day and did not update blog. Was working and exercising and got my steps back up a little, the nights definitely get darker sooner now! But staying on track and focussed so thats good. Sorry not much time to check peoples blogs lately! Our new construction foreman!

Did some extra steps yesterday trying to burn off extra fat! I was 141.2 last week and 141.9 today, definitely ate too much over the weekend and back on track today. Just seems I get ahead then go on a trip or out for dinner and my metabolism seems to have slowed down dramatically of late. They were ready to pour the foundation of the house yesterday, concrete on the way, but they had really messed up and were going to add a 4 foot 'pony' wall instead of 4 feet of extra foundation on the back foundation which is on a slope - we paid for the concrete and told them we definitely did not want a pony wall, we are not sure if it was a mistake or deliberate but the project manager on our house is apparently no longer our project manager (thank goodness) so they had to take everything away and will redo it properly this week. What a mess! Hopefully it will not take too long. With all of this going on its hard to worry about my calorie intake!

Relaxing day and did not do much as was tired. Plus it was raining and needed to relax. Definitely ate way too much this weekend again and did not weigh. Back on the wagon Monday! I am not so strict because am really over by a pound or so, but psychologically its harder to lose a pound than 50 lbs for some reason!!!

Went to the zoo and more shopping today so got a lot of steps in. Nice to get away and also have a nice hot bath! It was kind of rainy today though again! It was a gorgeous October but Fall is here for sure now!
